The LIFE Bauxal II project will utilise refractory manufacturing to transform a secondary aluminium oxide into an alternative raw material of bauxites.

The Life Bauxal II project is projected to take 4 years, which is structured in 13 actions: 9 implementation actions and 4 actions involving preparatory actions, monitoring of environmental impact, dissemination and project management.

The construction of a preindustrial plant with a capacity of 500 tpy (tonnes per year) to establish a new global innovative process for refining secondary aluminium oxide, and its subsequent use as raw material in refractory manufacturing.
